currently, i’m working on getting my degree in computer science (with a concentration in people and media). within the world of design, i have experience designing for a variety of industries, but one thing has connected all my work — an interest in accessibility. in addition, to working on design, i have created accessibility seminars for in-house training for companies, and have done research on it within the academic setting.

when i’m not in the classroom but on campus, i am either trying to befriend the campus cats or am at the school paper. as the editor-in-chief, i have a lot of experience with journalistic writing (the newsroom is where my interest in tech communication began!). If you’re interested in seeing some of the things I’ve written for the very aptly named Technique, check out my page here.

and when i’m at home, i love to read (currently reading “You Play The Girl: On Playboy Bunnies, Princesses, Trainwrecks and Other Man-Made Women” by Carina Chocano) and bake. unfortunately, my eye for design did not quite transfer to my icing piping skills
